My top recommendations for the best Dead Sea hotels are based on consistent guest feedback and countless stories from travelers. After years of staying at Dead Sea hotels myself, I’ve gathered a few extra insights to help you plan the perfect trip to the Dead Sea:

• If you plan to use the hotel spa extensively, check that it offers a large, well-equipped facility with a wide range of treatments (mud wraps, sulfur baths, massages, etc.). Smaller spas can get fully booked quickly, especially in peak season.
• Not all hotels have direct private beach access. Some are set back from the shoreline and provide complimentary shuttles. If walking straight to the water is important to you, confirm this detail when booking.
• All best Dead Sea hotels serve excellent breakfast buffets with huge variety – often so generous that they’ll keep you full until dinner. For this reason, half-board (breakfast + dinner) is a great choice for most travelers. If you book breakfast-only, keep in mind that dining options outside the hotels in Ein Bokek are quite limited.
• The most comfortable seasons are spring (March-May) and autumn (September-November). In summer, temperatures often exceed 40°C/104°F, so stay hydrated, apply sunscreen frequently, wear a hat, and bring water shoes to protect your feet on the salty, rocky shore.
